Jonathan Andic, the son of the founder of Mango, announced in an open letter to staff this Tuesday that he will temporarily step back from his roles within the company. Despite this hiatus, he will continue to oversee his responsibilities related to family, professional, and social projects as he dedicates himself to proving his innocence.
In the letter, which was conveyed to the EFE news agency by family-appointed spokespeople, the former vice president of Mango emphasized that the attention and focus required for his legal defense concerning the ongoing judicial proceedings, following his indictment for the alleged homicide of his father, hinder his ability to maintain the high level of commitment necessary for his corporate responsibilities.
Last week, Jonathan Andic was arrested and subsequently released on bail set at one million euros due to his alleged involvement in the homicide of his father, who tragically passed away in December 2024 after falling over 100 meters during a mountain excursion in Collbató, Barcelona, where Jonathan was accompanying him.
