The much-anticipated Karate1 Premier League reaches its grand finale in Morocco, organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Karate and Associated Disciplines (FRMKDA) under the auspices of the World Karate Federation. This event marks the culmination of the first edition of the Karate1 Premier League, following successful stages held in Turkey, Italy, and China. Competitors at this prestigious event are among the world's elite in karate, vying for both the Grand Prix and the Mohammed VI International Karate Cup.

In a statement to the press, the event director, Zitouni Metyout, emphasized the significance of this edition, highlighting that it represents the final phase of the World Karate Premier League. He noted that this competition is considered one of the most prestigious tournaments on the international stage, owing to the participation of high-level world champions. Metyout recognized Morocco's substantial experience in organizing large-scale sporting events, which has earned the country a stellar reputation worldwide.

Meanwhile, the Vice Secretary-General of FRMKDA, Saïd Cherrat, expressed confidence in the Moroccan champions' morale and their strong determination to achieve commendable results in the tournament. He explained that this competition presents a vital opportunity for all participants to earn crucial points toward the world rankings, stating that the World Premier League is a key step for champions on their journey to qualify for the World Championships.

The Moroccan team competing in this edition comprises notable athletes including Aya En-Nesyry (female kata), Saïd Oubaya (male kumite -67 kg), Chaïmae El Hayti (female kumite -55 kg), and many others across various weight categories. The Mohammed VI International Karate Cup will see extensive participation from champions and practitioners from different continents, along with numerous international coaches, referees, and members of technical and official commissions from the World Karate Federation. This event is a testament to Morocco's increasingly prominent role in the international sports arena.

The 20th edition of this competition marks an exceptional milestone, having established itself as a premier international sporting event that attracts the global karate elite, thanks to Morocco's organizational reputation and its experience in hosting significant international sporting events.
