The 37th Ordinary Spring Session of the Council of Ulema Commences in Rabat

With the esteemed approval of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Commander of the Faithful and President of the Supreme Council of Ulema, the 37th ordinary spring session of the Council has officially commenced in Rabat. The opening session was attended by Ahmed Toufiq, the Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs. Over the course of two days, the Council's committees will delve into several significant topics, including the implementation of the Royal Letter concerning the celebration of the Sira Nabawiya, the expanded deployment of the 'Tasdid Al-Tabligh' plan, as well as the mechanisms for activating the fatwa related to Zakat. Additionally, the discussions will cover the oversight of permanent committees and the approval of the internal regulations for regional and local scientific councils.

During this significant occasion, El Yazid Er-Radi emphasized the pivotal role of the ulema in preserving the religious and national constants of the Kingdom, while Saïd Chabar highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional cooperation and developing mechanisms to enhance the impact of the Council's actions in service of society.
