Clarification from PAM Leadership on Election Candidate
In a recent statement, leadership sources from the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) have categorically denied rumors circulating on social media regarding potential changes to the party's candidate list for the upcoming elections in the Taza constituency. These rumors suggested the possible exclusion of candidate Mohamed Amghar from the PAM nomination in Taza.
According to these leadership sources in an interview with "Alhadat TV", the PAM has definitively decided on its candidate for Taza during a meeting held in Meknes in April. This crucial meeting was chaired by Mehdi Ben Saïd, a member of the party's collective leadership, alongside Samir Kodar, the head of the organizational pole, and several members of the political bureau. During this gathering, the party's candidate for the Taza electoral district was announced, in line with other local electoral districts across the nine provinces of the Fes-Meknes region.
The sources further elaborated that the Meknes meeting followed an extensive series of marathon sessions dedicated to preparing the party's candidate list for local districts. These sessions were overseen by key political bureau members, including Rachid Abdi, Arabi Al-Mahrishi, and Mohamed Hamouti, all under the supervision of Samir Kodar, who heads the organizational department of the party.
In response to concerns raised by some members within the PAM's regional general secretariat in Taza regarding the legitimacy of the candidate selection, the party source indicated that such doubts are merely attempts at disruption and lack any substantial impact.
