Tricinty Fest Set to Rock Rabat with an Impressive Lineup of Global Talent

Tricinty Fest Returns with a Stellar Rock and Metal Lineup

The highly anticipated Tricinty Fest is making its return to Rabat for its fourth edition on June 5 and 6, 2026, at the iconic Cinéma Renaissance. This vibrant music festival is organized by the Hiba Foundation and promises an exciting array of performances featuring renowned rock and metal bands from around the globe. This year's lineup includes the Moroccan band Manic Attack, the Spanish group Toundra, French outfit Hypno5e, the British band False Reality, and The Ocean from Germany. The festival receives support from various cultural institutions, including the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, the British Council, and the Goethe-Institut.

One of the primary objectives of the festival organizers is to promote independent music and foster the electrifying atmosphere of live performances. Tricinty Fest has successfully attracted a dedicated audience, with each edition drawing over 1,400 attendees and an online viewership surpassing 10,000. The festival has hosted 18 bands from different countries and provided a platform for industry professionals to share their insights and experiences.

Beyond Music: Workshops, Masterclasses, and Emerging Talent Showcases

In addition to the captivating concerts, Tricinty Fest offers a wealth of activities designed to engage participants and expand their musical knowledge. This year, the festival includes masterclasses, mentoring sessions, and capacity-building workshops aimed at enriching the experience and reaching a broader audience. For instance, a rock-metal mixing workshop was recently held at Studio HIBA in Casablanca, where participants, guided by British musician and sound engineer Tom MacLean, explored production, mixing, and audio management techniques.

The festival will also spotlight emerging local talent on June 5 through a special 'First Stage' program at Café La Scène. This event will showcase promising artists from the local rock and metal scene, including Lixivia from Rabat (thrash metal), Anora from Kenitra (rock), and Darih from Casablanca (black metal). On June 6, The Ocean will conduct two professional workshops—one focusing on drumming, led by Jordi Farré, and another dedicated to vocal techniques, particularly screaming, with the band's lead vocalist.

As the festival unfolds, attendees can look forward to exhilarating performances from the headlining bands on June 6, starting at 6 p.m., where the diverse aesthetics of rock, metal, and post-metal will be celebrated. Tricinty Fest is not only a musical event but a cultural experience that brings together artists and fans alike, reinforcing Rabat's position as a vibrant hub for music lovers.
