International Collaboration and Recognition at the Sports Journalists’ Golf Cup
The vibrant city of Agadir recently concluded the ninth iteration of the Sports Journalists’ Golf Cup, a prestigious event that took place from May 21 to May 23, 2026. Organized by the Agadir branch of the Moroccan League of Sports Journalists, the tournament was themed "Open and Committed Media… Sport as a Lever for Tourism Development," highlighting the essential role of sports journalism in promoting tourism and fostering international relationships.

The competition culminated in a thrilling finale where Spanish journalist Jose Merquez emerged victorious, followed closely by Said Lamrati, the media officer for Moghreb Atlético Tetuán.
